His Highness will outline the UAE’s political priorities and vision for international peace, security and cooperation in his September 24 speech to this year’s assembly, which is expected to be attended by more than 150 heads of state and government.

Led by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE delegation will meet with member states, UN officials and other stakeholders on pressing global challenges, including climate change, conflict resolution, post-pandemic recovery, humanitarian emergencies and food insecurity.

As a member of the United Nations Security Council, the UAE has assumed a greater role in these priorities and works to promote conflict resolution, support the improvement of the international counter-terrorism framework to eliminate new threats and promote the full, equality of women. and significant participation in conflict resolution and peacekeeping operations.
